Faribault police are searching for information in the recent vandalism of a children’s playground.
Caren Hoffman, director of A Child’s Delight, told the Faribault Daily News the vandals climbed a 6-foot wooden fence to enter the playground, and that they tipped everything over, jumped on a playhouse, scattered toys everywhere and left beer cans along the fence. Hoffman estimates damage repairs could cost up to $1,000.
A Child’s Delight was also vandalized last year, causing $2,000 in damage.
Hoffman said Faribault police have promised increase patrols and she’s considered getting surveillance cameras, but there is no physical evidence to lead to suspects.
