The picket lines outside of American Crystal Sugar have worked their way to Chaska.
Employees at United Sugars (a division of American Crystal) are entering day five of the lockout, along with 1,300 company employees across Minnesota and North Dakota.
American Crystal forced workers out Monday after union members rejected the company’s last contract offer on Sunday.
At the liquid sugar-producing plant in Chaska, 19 employees are affected by the lockout.
None of the workers picketing as of yesterday knew when negotiations might start up again or when they’d be back to work.
