Twins slugger, Jim Thome is named Player of the Week for the eighth time following his 600th career home run last Monday. Thome, the oldest player to reach 600 home runs, did it in the 48th multi-home run game of his career. At 40 years old, Thome batted .429 with three home runs, seven RBIs and four runs scored in the five games played last week. Thome will receive a watch courtesy of game in recognition of his accomplishment.
