Highway 21 road work between New Prague and Jordan expected to be complete yesterday was postponed due to rain and will now be extended through 8 p.m. today.
If you’re commuting in the area, watch for sections of the road to be reduced to a single lane with flaggers and a pilot car. Access to driveways and crossroads along the roadway may be temporarily restricted.
The affected section runs from Sixth Street/Scott County Road 37 in New Prague to Mill Street in Jordan. The work was expected to begin at 6 a.m. today.
