Three people were killed Saturday on Minnesota roads, including a teenager from Chanhassen.
The 18-year-old woman died at 11:30 p.m. when the vehicle in which she was a passenger crashed in Carver. Carver County sheriff’s officers found the vehicle in a ditch on the south side of Main Street W. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene; the male driver was taken to a hospital.
Also this weekend, 59-year-old David Pearson, of Richfield, was killed in that city around 8:30 p.m. Saturday when he was struck by a vehicle while crossing Lyndale Avenue S. near 75th Street.
The third fatality was 19-year-old Logan Hoehne, from Frazee, who died just after noon Saturday when he failed to yield at the intersection of Grant County Road 10 and Hwy. 79 and was struck by a truck. The State Patrol says Hoehne was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his car.
