The Chanhassen woman killed in a one-vehicle crash in Carver last week has been identified.
The Carver County Sheriff’s Office says she was 18-year-old Bridgette Twining.
The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. September 3. Twining was driving the vehicle with one passenger on County Road 40 when she attempted to pass another vehicle, over-corrected, and slid sideways into a ditch and struck some trees on the passenger side.
Twining was pronounced dead at the scene. Her 24-year-old male passenger was transported an area hospital.
Twining graduated from Chanhassen High School in May and was planning to attend the University of Wisconsin-Stout this fall.
