Prior Lake residents concerned about the proposal to reroute County Road 21 through downtown Prior Lake spoke up one last time last night, pleading with the City Council to consider their concerns.
During the council’s public forum time, seven residents and one business owner spoke out against the proposal, as others have throughout the past several months. They continued to raise questions they say have not been answered.
The council was expected to vote on the plan next week, but yesterday afternoon made a last-minute decision to reschedule the vote for this Friday at 6:30 p.m. The $23 million rerouting plan would take out as many as 34 homes and one business.
