Wild 2, Red Wings 1 02 Nov 11

Devin Setoguchi scored at 1:33 of overtime and the visiting Minnesota Wild completed a home-and-home sweep of the Detroit Red Wings with a 2-1 victory on Tuesday night.

Mikko Koivu scored his first goal with one minute remaining in regulation to tie the game and help send the Red Wings to their fifth consecutive loss.

Josh Harding turned aside 36 shots in his third start of the season. He also made 36 saves in blanking Detroit 1-0 on Saturday night.

Setoguchi’s winning goal came 24 seconds after Johan Franzen was sent to the penalty box for goaltender interference. The Wild finally capitalized on the man advantage when Setoguchi tipped in a shot by Justin Falk for Minnesota’s first power-play goal in eight attempts.

Nicklas Lidstrom scored Detroit’s only goal at 6:00 of the first period, redirecting a shot by Henrik Zetterberg past Harding.

Jimmy Howard made 25 saves in absorbing his third straight defeat for the Red Wings, which last lost five in a row in January 2009.
