JORDAN – It’s not a bad day for a school when you have three athletes from the same sport all signing to play at the Division II level. It makes even more special that it gets to turn into a pep fest for that team that is going to the state tournament for the first time in three years. That’s exactly what happened at Jordan high school Wednesday afternoon.
Three players from this year’s Jordan volleyball team all signed on the dotted line to continue their playing career in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). Middle hitter Paige Smith signed to play at University of Mary in Bismark, North Dakota. Setter Emilee Gutzmer signed to play at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN. Outside hitter Kelsey Chambers signed to play at Northern State in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
