A Faribault man, on probation for a 2009 criminal vehicular homicide conviction, is facing three new felony charges after a weekend crime spree.
Austin S. Veal, 20, is facing charges for second and third degree burglary and damage to property, after allegedly breaking into two Faribault businesses on Saturday night and then fleeing police on foot.
Authorities also say Veal used a metal object to smash the windows of several vehicles at a dealership. His blood alcohol content at the time he was arrested was 0.137.
Veal is currently serving 30 days for probation violation. His next court date is set for November 28.
