Sheriff’s Citizens Academy set to begin in January 17 Nov 11

If you want an insider’s look at local law enforcement, the Scott County Sheriff’s Office is now taking applications for the annual Sheriff’s Citizens Academy.

The purpose of the course is to increase citizens’ awareness of law enforcement, to dispel suspicions and misconceptions and to promote relationships between the Sheriff’s Office and the community.

The academy will begin Jan. 23 and run on Monday evenings for nine weeks.
