String of vehicle break-ins continues in Jordan 28 Nov 11

A recent rash of thefts from vehicles in Jordan has continued over the past few weeks, despite the arrest of one person allegedly involved.

Jordan Police Chief Bob Malz says his department has made some progress but officers are still looking for at least one suspect who continues to break into vehicles and steal valuables.

Malz spoke to the Jordan City Council last week and reported an increase in this year’s overall crime numbers, including theft. Citizens in all communities are encouraged to not leave valuables in vehicles, lock your car doors at night, and report even the smallest theft or crime to your local police department.
