Faribault police have identified one suspect and two persons of interest in last week’s armed robbery and shooting.
Faribault Police Chief Dan Collins told the Faribault Daily News he could not reveal details about the two persons of interest because of the ongoing investigation, but he did say they have been located.
The suspect, 21-year-old Bryan Groehler, was arrested in connection with a Thanksgiving Day armed robbery that started at Truckers Inn in Faribault, and ended with shots fired near Target in the Dundas/Northfield area.
Groehler is being held at the Dakota County Jail on three separate court files alleging nine charges against him, including felony theft and burglary, felony assault and misdemeanor disorderly conduct and fleeing peace officers.
Collins said Groehler has not been charged in Rice County. He added that at this time, law enforcement is not looking for more suspects.
