A Le Sueur man is out on bail after being charged with felony assault for attacking another man with a piece of wood.
According to the complaint filed in Le Sueur County, on Nov. 12 a man contacted Le Sueur Police to report that he had been attacked by 28-year-old Timothy Bratsch when he had gone to a piece of land to see if his father had shot a deer.
The complainant told police when he got out of his vehicle, Bratsch hit him in the back of the head with a piece of wood, punched him and then pushed him down a small ravine. The complainant told police his girlfriend has children with Bratsch.
Bratsch has been charged with assault in the second degree involving a dangerous weapon which carries a maximum sentence of seven years in jail and/or a $14,000 fine. He is schedule to appear in court Dec. 13.
