Redemption was a dish served cold Thursday night when the Sabers of Shakopee hosted the Robbinsdale-Armstrong Falcons. Shakopee Coach Juan Mitchell recalled his first meeting with the Falcons some four years ago when Shakopee was in a heavy transition period. The Falcons came out the victors that night but it would be the Sabers who would show their authority the second time around. Lead by a strong defense Shakopee held Robbinsdale-Armstrong to only seven points in the first half. After halftime the Falcons would start off strong by being more aggressive with shot attempts and solid defense. It would be the Shakopee defense that would continue to win this game, holding Robbinsdale-Armstrong to just 18 points. The final score was 35-18, as Shakopee prepares for their next game in Waconia.
