FBI: Intruder may have robbed banks in Minn., ND 10 Jan 12

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (AP) – The FBI says a home intruder and armed carjack suspect likely robbed three banks in the Twin Cities area and Fargo, N.D.

The 43-year-old man was taken into custody over the weekend. Authorities say the man stole a car from a driver outside Lucky 13′s Pub in Bloomington Saturday. Police say the suspect entered a house about a mile away and stole a Cadillac. A brief time later, police got a call about a home invasion and a man who was struggling with residents. That’s when he was arrested.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports (http://bit.ly/xGkJd0) federal investigators suspect the man robbed a bank in Arden Hills last Wednesday, a bank in Fargo, N.D., on New Year’s Eve and another bank in Bloomington on Monday.
