ROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) – Firefighters have rescued a woman whose car slid off U.S. 52 and rolled into the Zumbro River in southeastern Minnesota.
The Post-Bulletin reports the driver of the car, 54-year-old Deborah Perry of Rochester, was taken to St. Marys Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
The car slid off wet pavement into a gulley south of Apache Mall in Rochester Tuesday morning.
Rochester police helped the Minnesota State Patrol at the scene.
