Scott Cty HHW recycling used holiday lights 19 Jan 12

Before you try to pawn off your old and broken Christmas lights on the Trading Post, consider recycling them through Scott County.

The county’s Household Hazardous Waste Facility is recycling used holiday lights and old electrical and phone cords for free through the first of February, in partnership with the Recycling Association of Minnesota (RAM).

The RAM Holiday Lights Program employs more than 200 developmentally disabled Minnesotans each year.

Scott County’s HHW facility located at 588 Country Trail E. (Minnesota Highway 282), Jordan.
