Man admits stealing from home of deceased woman 24 Jan 12

A man accused of burglarizing the home of a deceased woman near Jordan has allegedly admitted to the incident.

In October, a man reported that someone had broken into the house, garage and pole barn of his late cousin. The 67-year-old woman, of Helena Township, had died in April.

Using surveillance photos from Excel Pawn in Shakopee, Chad Cicero Graham, 38, was identified as the man selling at least $4,500 worth of items from the home.

Graham was arrested in California in November on outstanding warrants in Illinois, Iowa and Missouri for parole violations. In a phone conversation with a Scott County detective, he allegedly admitted to the burglary.

He has been charged in Scott County with third-degree burglary and receiving stolen property. Both are felonies.
