Details emerging in car-house collision in Le Sueur 03 Feb 12

Information is starting to emerge but details are still scarce about three people who were injured when their car struck a house two weeks ago.

According a Le Sueur Police Department report, at 1:23 a.m. on Jan. 14 officers were dispatched to a Le Sueur residence where an out-of-control vehicle crashed into a house.

According to the report the vehicle lost control while going around a curve. The vehicle struck a city light pole and a mailbox before skidding across the driveway and colliding with the east side of the house and finally coming to a stop in the back yard.

The driver, Darrin Matthew Reddick, 28, of Le Sueur, and his two adult passengers were transported to the Minnesota Valley Medical Center. One of them was airlifted to another hospital.

Le Sueur Police Chief Bruce Kelly told the Le Sueur News-Herald the investigation is awaiting results of toxicology tests of Reddick and his two passengers.
