CROCKPOT SNACK MIX
- 3 cups thin pretzel sticks
- 4 cups Wheat Chex cereal
- 4 cups Cheerios cereal
- 12 oz. jar salted peanuts
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Combine all ingredients in 4 to 5 quart crockpot and stir gently until well mixed and cereal, pretzels, and peanuts are coated with the butter, cheese, and spices. Cover crockpot and cook on low 3-4 hours, stirring twice during cooking. Remove lid during last half hour of cooking to let the mix dry.
If you have a new hot cooking crockpot, check this after 2 hours.
CROCKPOT ONION MEATBALLS
- 3 lbs. frozen cooked meatballs
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 10 oz. jar beef gravy
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Combine all ingredients in 4 – 6 quart crockpot and stir to combine.
Cover crockpot and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours until thoroughly heated.
10 servings.
SWEET AND SPICY CROCKPOT MEATBALLS
- 2 pounds precooked frozen meatballs
- 1 cup grape or apple jelly
- 2 cups chili sauce or cocktail sauce
Heat meatballs in oven as directed on package. Place in 3-4 quart crockpot. Mix jelly and chili sauce or cocktail sauce thoroughly, pour over meatballs, stir well, cover crockpot, and heat on high 1-2 hours until sauce is hot. Turn heat to low until ready to serve, stirring
occasionally. Serves 8-10.
CROCKPOT CARAMEL APPLE DIP
- 2 medium apples, peeled and cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 7 oz. pkg. caramels, unwrapped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. ground cardamom
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
In 3-4 quart crockpot, combine apple juice, unwrapped caramel candies, vanilla, cardamom and cinnamon. Drop peanut butter, 1 teaspoon at a time, over ingredients in crock pot and stir. Add apple wedges and stir to coat. Cover crockpot and cook on LOW for 5 hrs. Stir thoroughly, then cook one hour longer. Serve dip with angel food cake, pound cake, plain cookies, or fresh fruit for dipping, or use as an ice cream topping. 8 Servings.
