Two Jordan High School students are looking for community support to help them win a $10,000 grant in an essay contest.
Kurt Schansberg and Reinah Thom have already secured $2,500 as one of 14 finalists in the Minnesota Toyota Drive for Education contest. Online voting from students and community supporters could help Schansberg and Thom win one of two $10,000 grants, which would go toward the purchase of a projection system upgrade in their high school auditorium.
Le Sueur-Henderson High School is also a finalist in the contest. To vote for any of the student essays, visit facebook.com/Prep45.
