EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings have addressed a lot of problem areas over the past year.
Their linebacker group is still a significant question mark.
Chad Greenway is back as the leader, but he is coming off a relatively quiet season, even though he was picked as an injury replacement for his first Pro Bowl. With veteran E.J. Henderson left unsigned, Jasper Brinkley is the favorite to take over at the middle spot. Erin Henderson, with just one year of starting experience, is the incumbent at the other outside position.
Coach Leslie Frazier sounds a little concerned. It’s only June, but Frazier used the words “hoping” and “trying” and “not quite there yet” when asked to assess the group after practice on Tuesday.
