Cleanup Continues In Chippewa National Forest 05 Jul 12

(Various) — After taking a break during another storm Wednesday afternoon, crews continue clearing wind-downed trees in the Chippewa National Forest in northern Minnesota. Officials are urging gawkers to stay out of the area, noting that hazard trees have not been completely removed in many areas and traffic will cause problems for workers.

They say summer residences in the High Banks and Tamarack Point areas have extensive storm damage. The Norway Beach Campground remains closed indefinitely.
