Raymond J. Malecha “Baler Ray” age 80, of Lonsdale, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Jan. 11, 2013. Ray was born Aug 2, 1932 at his home farm in Lonsdale. He was a farmer and a truck driver, but known for his baler fixing business. He is preceded in death by his parents, John M. and Mary Malecha and brother-in-law, Richard Hruska. Ray married Dorothy Pinc on May 18, 1954 at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Northfield. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Dorothy; children, Christine (Larry) White, Sandra (Marty) Berg, Denise (George) Budd, Pamela (Ronald) Bongers and Scott (Dani) Malecha; 12 grandchildren, Chad, Shaun, Kristen, Darin, Joseph, Heidi, Pamela, Regina, Dustin, Eric, Emi and Brandon and 11 Great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Hruska, Grace (Orville) Kuchinka, Donald T. (Jane) Malecha and Patricia (Larry) Trcka; many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Lonsdale, with visitation on Monday (Jan. 14) from 4-7 PM at the White Funeral Home, Lonsdale also 1 hr. prior to Mass at the funeral home. Interment, Calvary Cemetery, Lonsdale.
