Very First Station Vehicle 25 Jan 13

When the station signed on the air in 1968, the call letters were KTMF. This picture was discovered in a 1969 edition of the Prior Lake American. It is the very first station vehicle which was used by all personnel but especially the news people on staff. As the caption describes, the “RADIO NEWS” signage on the front is backwards so people would be able to read it correctly in their rear view
mirrors. Thanks to listener Gerald Ziskovsky in Prior Lake for providing us this great snapshot of KCHK’s past.
