Minnesota’s J.J. Barea led a balanced effort with 21 points off the bench as the Timberwolves pounded the Pistons 105-82 last night in Detroit. Nikola Pekovic posted 18 points and eleven rebounds, while Luke Ridnour scored 15 points for Minnesota, which has won two-of-three. Ricky Rubio chipped in with 14 points and nine assists in the victory. Jose Calderon netted 14 points to pace the Pistons, who had snapped their ten-game losing streak with a win Sunday in Charlotte. Greg Monroe had eleven points, 12 boards and four steals in the setback. Minnesota hosts the Lakers tonight at the Target Center.
