Ryan M. Malecha, age 36 of Faribault, died on Monday, April 15, 2013 at his home after a six month battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be at the Faribault Evangelical Free Church on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. with the Reverend Daniel Van Loon, officiating. Interment will be at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Faribault.
Visitation will be at the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault on Thursday, April 18th from 4 to 8 p.m. and also at church for one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Ryan Martin, the son of Marvin and Linda (Rosival) Malecha, was born on September 18, 1976 in Faribault. He graduated from Northfield High School in 1995. He also graduated from Dakota County Technical College and was currently working towards a second degree at South Central College. Ryan married Angela Holty on July 5, 2008 in Stillwater. He was currently employed with the City of Bloomington as a mechanic and previously worked at Big Steer in Northfield and Catco in Burnsville. Ryan enjoyed collecting and working on antique tractors.
He is survived by his wife, Angela; three children, Mason, Abagayle and Ryley; his parents, Marvin and Linda of Little Chicago; a brother, Allen (and Shauna) Malecha of Northfield; a sister, Lynn (and Todd) Schrot of Faribault; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a niece, Martina and his grandparents, Martin & Wilma Malecha and Joseph & Julia Rosival.
