Detroit slugger Prince Fielder blasted a three-run homer in the sixth inning, lifting the Tigers to a 4-3 win over the visiting Twins last night in the Motor City. Andy Dirks lifted a solo shot in the third for Detroit, which has won four straight. Max Scherzer lasted seven-and-a-third innings while allowing three runs and punching out ten to improve to 3-and-0. Joaquin Benoit notched his second save. Josh Willingham hit a solo homer while Aaron Hicks and Oswaldo Arcia each recorded an RBI for Minnesota. Mike Pelfrey was tagged for all four runs over five-and-a-third innings to fall to 2-and-3.
