Chris Davis smacked a two-run homer and knocked in three as the Orioles blanked the Twins 6-0 in the rubber match of a three-game set at Target Field. Adam Jones and Steve Pearce both added solo homers for the O’s, who have won six of their last eight. Wei-Yin Chen tossed five shutout innings to even his record at 3-and-3. Joe Mauer had two of the eight hits for the Twins, who had won three in-a-row coming into this series. Scott Diamond was tagged for six runs and nine hits in five-and-two-thirds frames as he fell to 3-and-3. The Twins host the White Sox tonight. Orioles left-hander Wei-Yin Chen left yesterday’s start with a right oblique strain. The O’s initial hope is that the injury could just be a cramp, but Chen could miss a few weeks with the strain. He is scheduled to be re-evaluated today. Chen is 3-and-3 this year with a 3.04 ERA in eight starts
