TWINS WIN IN 14 29 May 13

Eduardo Escobar’s pinch-hit sacrifice fly in the top of the 14th lifted the Twins to a 6-5 win over the Brewers last night in Milwaukee. Ryan Doumit, Josh Willingham and Aaron Hicks all went deep for the Twins, who will host the next two meetings after winning the last two at Miller Park. Hicks also doubled to lead off the 14th inning and scored on Escobar’s fly ball to left field. Earlier in the game, Hicks robbed a home run from Milwaukee’s Carlos Gomez. Ryan Pressly was credited with the win. Brian Duensing earned his first save. Jean Segura laced a tying RBI single in the ninth as part of a 6-for-7 performance for the Brewers, who have dropped four straight. Burke Badenhop took the loss.

Minnesota will host Milwaukee tonight at Target Field. Coverage begins at 6:40pm on AM 1350 KCHK.
