Minnesota’s Clete Thomas doubled in the tying run in the eighth inning and then scored the go-ahead run on a wild pitch as the Twins topped the Phillies 4-3 at Target Field. Thomas finished 4-for-4 with two RBI and Oswaldo Arcia was 3-for-4 with three runs scored for the Twins, who will go for the three-game sweep on Thursday. Brian Duensing picked up the win in relief. Glen Perkins closed it out for his 15th save. Former Twin Ben Revere went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored for Philly. Domonic Brown and Delmon Young also plated a run each for the Phils, who have lost five in-a-row after a five-game winning streak.

Twins Wrap Up Series With Phillies Tonight
