Minnesota goaltender Josh Harding stopped all 16 shots he faced to help the Wild shut out the Predators 2-0 at the Xcel Energy Center last night in St. Paul. It’s the eighth career shutout for Harding. Minnesota outshot Nashville 13-3 in the first period, but wasn’t able to take the lead. Former Minnesota-Duluth standout Justin Fontaine finally gave the Wild a 1-0 lead late in the second period and Jason Pominville clinched the win with an empty-net goal with 25 seconds left in the third.
