Dallas quarterback Tony Romo connected with Dwayne Harris for a seven-yard touchdown with 35 seconds left as the Cowboys rallied to beat the Vikings 27-23 yesterday in Texas. Romo finished 34-of-51 for 337 yards with two TD’s and an interception for the Cowboys, who upped their mark to 5-and-4. Jason Witten had eight catches for 102 yards and a score in the victory. Vikings signal-caller Christian Ponder was 25-of-37 for 236 yards with a TD and a pick. He also fumbled in the end zone leading to a Dallas score, and ran in a touchdown himself for the Vikes. Minnesota fell to 1-and-7 with its fourth straight loss. Adrian Peterson rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown in the setback. The Vikes host the Redskins on Thursday night at the Metrodome. Washington beat San Diego yesterday in overtime 30-24.
