Golden State sharpshooter Klay Thompson posted a game-high 30 points to pace the Warriors to a 106-93 victory over the Timberwolves at the Target Center last night in Minneapolis. Thompson poured in 19 of his 30 points in the fourth quarter, where the Warriors pulled away. Thompson is the son of former Golden Gopher star Mychal Thompson. David Lee tallied 22 points and 15 rebounds for Golden State, which improved to 4-and-1. Andre Iguodala added 20 points and six assists for the Warriors, who lost guard Stephen Curry to a leg injury in the second half. Kevin Love registered 25 points and 16 rebounds for Minnesota, which dropped to 3-and-2. Kevin Martin chipped in with 23 points for the T’wolves. Minnesota hosts Dallas tomorrow night. The Mavericks lost to Oklahoma City 107-93 last night.
