Adeline M. Hruby, (Sevcik) age 90, of Lonsdale, MN passed into eternal life on December 7, 2013. Adeline Marie was born to Charles and Albina Sevcik on May 4, 1923. She was the only girl between six boys. She attended county school and later met her lifetime sweetheart Edward Joseph Hruby. They married on May 4, 1942 in Lonsdale, and Ed had to leave for the service. They had three children. Adeline worked out besides taking care of her family at places such as Tilkalsky’s, J.T. Sheldahl, Control Data, Rytway Packaging, and Northfield Hospital. In her spare time she gardened, canned, baked, and love to cook. Also embroidered and loved to read. Adeline was a faithful member of the Lonsdale Woman’s Legion Auxiliary, Rosary Society, and Blue Lady Prayer Army and a Blood Mobile volunteer. She was a very hard working lady and devoted to her husband and family. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Edward Jr.; siblings; James (Evelyn), Al (Lillian), George, Raymond, Edward (Elaine), Joe, Alice, and Leonard Sevcik. Adeline is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Edward, and daughters, Patricia Hruby, and Deborah (Gene) Jeurissen; grandchildren, Annette, Stacy, and Aaron Hruby, and Julie Zunker; great grandchildren, Zoe, and Jack Lindstrom; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Saturday December 14, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Lonsdale, with visitation from 4-7 PM Friday 12/13 at the White Funeral Home, Lonsdale (507 744 2368) also 1 hr. prior to Mass at the funeral home.
