Patrick “Pat” McGraw


Patrick “Pat” McGraw, age 58, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Sunday, June 29, 2014 at

his home in Henderson. Funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3 at Word of Life

Church in Le Sueur. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2 at the Kolden

Funeral Home in Le Sueur and also one hour prior to service time at the church on Thursday.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Le Sueur.

Pat was born on July 15, 1955 to John and Alvera (Harnisch) McGraw in St. Peter. He attended

St. Anne’s School in Le Sueur and graduated from Le Sueur High School and attended the

University of Minnesota in Duluth and the Twin Cities. He married Denise Junker on June 20,

1992 at the United Methodist Church in Le Sueur. Pat operated the third generation McGraw

Monument Works in LeSueur. Pat worked long hours to provide for his family and also to

produce monuments that would be fairly priced and appealing to the many customers that

McGraw Monuments has served. He was creative and skilled at his trade. His hard work

provided a fine home and vacation times that created many memories and allowed Denise to be a

stay-at-home mom. Pat was a conversationalist, had a sense of humor and was gracious, humble

and kind.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
