 zinski &#8211\; Parade of Farm Pride Grand Marshals!</p>\n<p>Dožínky® (doe
 -shink&#8217\;-key)\, a Czech Harvest Festival patterned after the &#8220\
 ;Old Country&#8221\; original\, is held on the third Saturday of September
  each year in New Prague.</p>\n<p>Our city&#8217\;s beautiful Main Street 
 is transformed into an open-air market with vendor booths lining the sidew
 alks and a beer garden featuring authentic Czech beer. You can sample tast
 y treats including traditional Czech dishes. Food booths and events open a
 t 10 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. Main Street will be closed to through traffi
 c\, making your strolling safer and visiting more pleasant. No carry-in al
 cohol\, dogs\, bikes or golf carts are allowed.</p>\n<p>The Dožínky® Festi
 val in the Czech Republic is celebrated annually to give thanks for the bo
 untiful harvest. Similarly\, New Prague honors its agricultural roots with
  the Parade of Farm Pride at noon with a line-up of antique and modern far
 m equipment\, cars\, bands and horse-drawn units.</p>\n<p>Both children an
 d adults will enjoy the special events planned for the day\, including man
 y demonstrators and entertainers. Ethnic bands on three separate stages wi
 ll keep the crowd tapping their feet non-stop. Be sure to stop by the Czec
 h Village and the Czech Heritage Club. Authentic Czech dancers and singers
  will also share their talents\; the New Prague Czech Singers will delight
  the crowd\, and peruse authentic Czech merchandise.</p>\n<p>&nbsp\;</p>
 <p>Admission to the festival and most activities is free.</p>
