1350 am KCHK Radio went on the air in 1968.  KCHK has a long and strong history of providing the people in Scott, LeSueur, Rice, and Carver Counties with their local news, sports and weather information.

KCHK radio also has a long tradition of playing the Old Time and polka music from groups around the area.  KCHK Plays more polka music then any other station in the upper Midwest.

KCHK continues to add to its daily programming to offer people the information they need.   We provide weather forecasts 48 times each day, and news updates at the top and bottom of each hour.  In addition KCHK announces the area obituary notices four times each day.

KCHK carries classic country music in the afternoon and more polka music in the evening.

Coming soon will be daily metro traffic reports, and more local sports coverage.

KCHK now broadcasts more than 85 New Prague Trojan games each season, plus the games of several other high schools teams.
